I had a question about admission to Indian medical colleges through NEET exam.

If a person is born in USA, and after that he has come to India and did his complete schooling  till Class 12th from an Indian School, can he apply for Medical college admission as a normal Indian student or will he eligible to apply for admission under OCI/ NRI quota only?

Highly appreciate your help in this regard!

  • If a student does his/her schooling in India right from the start till class 12th, he/she can apply for medical college admission as a normal Indian student. And in that situation, you will not be count as NRI students and cannot get admission under OCI/NRI quota in any state college or deemed university.
