Requesting your valuable inputs on the following:

Can an NRI student choose the category as “Indian National” (instead of NRI) in the drop down menu of NEET application?

This is because by default, the NRIs are Indian Citizens (unlike the OCIs and PIOs who have another country’s citizenship).

The fear is that by choosing “NRI” as a category, it could automatically lead to a different NEET NRI rank list wherein the students are eligible for only the NRI seats where payments are exorbitant (as in deemed universities or for the NRI seats in private medical colleges).
