Dear Sir, Madam,

I am a British national and OCI card holder currently staying in the UK and would like to apply to IIITH and BITS as an international student for the academic year 2021-22.

I will be appearing for  SATs exam in March and was planning to appear for SAT subject test on May 8th from India but this clashes with my CBSE PE exam (Physical Education) as that is also on 8th May

I could not appear for the subject SAT earlier as the UK test centers were closed due to pandemic so decided to appear for this exam on May 8 but can not do that now as there is a clash.

The next SAT subject test is on 5th June but I am concerned that if results for this test will be accepted, the reason being the timelines for 2021 have not been published for BITS or IIITH yet.

Last year BITS requested to submit the SAT subject SAT score by 15th June

Can you please advise what is the best option, is there a chance I can resit CBSE PE exam on a diff date?

  • Thanks for posting your query. If your CBSE PE is an additional subject eg. 6th subject or this is the primary subject. Because you can leave your 6th subject as only 5 main subjects are needed to pass.

In case you cannot ignore PE paper then you should prefer writing SAT paper and you can apply for PE paper again which might happen in the next following month.
