I am a NRI living in Riyadh and my son is in grade 11 ( PCM ) . His plan is to pursue engineering in year 2022 . Target institutes are IIITH and top NITs in the same order of preference. Upon visiting IIITH website I could make out that it requires SAT & SAT2 exam to be eligible for admission whereas under DASA it requires only JEE-Main.

So that means he has to appear in 3 qualifying exams , viz , SAT , SAT Subject ( Phy, Chem, Math level2 ) and JEE main. Please let me know if my understanding is correct and also please provide guidance how to approach for all 3 qualifying exams. 

Also please let me know if any top league institutes of USA/Canada/Singapore will be a better choice than IIITH/Top NITs ? If yes, what will be the cost comparison and scholarship scenario . 

Would appreciate if you could reply to all above queries point-to-point with complete clarity.
