Dear Sir / Madam,

My daughter would be appearing for her JEE during the year 2023. I shall be moving to Oman in the next  3 Months for an assignment of 2 years.

However my daughter would be continuing her 11th and 12th in India only. Under such circumstances, whether my daughter is eligible for CIWG scheme, since she has not studied abroad in the last 8 years, but I would be working in Oman in the next two years. I would be grateful if I get expert opinion from you.

  • If you planning to attempt JEE Main in 2023 and sending your child to complete 11th and 12th from India And looking to take admission under CIWG Scheme.

Then Your Ward is not eligible for CIWG Scheme. If she completed her 11th and 12th from outside India then only she can take admission under DASA Scheme. And if she is belonging to any of the Gulf Country then only they can take admission under CIWG Scheme.

As there are some basic criteria is required for Admission under DASA/ CIWG Scheme.

    1. Students need to pass out 11th & 12th from outside India.

    2. The minimum score is required 60% from class 12th with DASA Scheme.

    3. They must be passed 11th and 12th with Physics Chemistry and Mathematics.

    4. They should have a valid Visa and passport with a Certificate of parents working in Gulf Country.

Hope this answer will help you and Clear your mindset about DASA/CIWG Scheme Admission.

    Thanks.
