Greetings!

I'm Girijasri Rajendran, a student of Class XII(2020-21) studying in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. My date of birth is February 29, 2004. I would like to know if I am eligible for SPDC (Age Eligibility) as the guidelines state that the student should be in the age group 17-21.

Extract from the Guidelines as follows:

''Age: The SPDC is open to applicants in the age group of 17 to 21 years as on 31st October 2020. Date of birth as recorded in the Secondary Education Board/University Certificate of Class 10th or equivalent, or as mentioned in a certificate for this purpose issued by appropriate Government authorities of respective countries will be taken as authentic for this purpose.''

If I am not eligible for SPDC this year, can I apply for it in the second year of my undergraduate course?

Request you to explain the procedure at the earliest.

Thanking you

  • So As per the SPDC guidelines, You are not eligible for the scholarship this year.

And you can't apply for the scholarship in the second year of your undergraduate program.
