Type  of  award: Scholarship.
Intended use: For full-time undergraduate study at accredited postsecondary  institution in United  States.
Eligibility:  Applicant  must be visually impaired.  Applicant
must be U.S. citizen.
Basis  for selection:Applicant  must demonstrate high academic achievement.
Application requirements: Recommendation s, transcript, proof of eligibility. Official documentation of visual impairment.  ACT/SAT scores. Personal essay  of  400-600
word s.
Additional information: Applicant must be visually impaired. Must reside in United States or U.S. territory. Previous SCA recipients and Lighthouse members and employees are ineligible. Application deadline in late February  or  early
March; visit Website for exact dates. Amount  of award: $10,000
