Type  of  award: Scholarship.
Intended use:For full-time undergraduate study at accredited postsecondary institution.
Eligibility :Applicant  or parent  must be member/participant  of American  Legion, Boys State. Applicant  must  be single, male, no older than  20. Applicant  must be residing  in Missouri.
Applicant must be descendant of veteran who served in the Army, Air Force, Marines, Navy  or Coast Guard. Must  be child, grandchild, or great-grandchild of veteran who served at least 90 days active duty in Army, Navy, Air Force, Mari nes, or Coast Guard, and was honorably  discharged.
Basis for selection:Applicant  must demonstrate  financial need.

Additional information: Must have  attended  complete session of American Legion Boys State or American  Legion Department  of Missouri Cadet Patrol Academy
