Basis for selection: Major/career interest in nursing; medical specialties/research; physician assistant; public health; medical assistant; health-related professions or nurse practitioner.
Applicant must demonstrate financial need and service orientation.
Application requirements: Essay, transcript. FAFSA. Two
additional essays.
Additional information: Applicant must be seeking career in public health , not private practice. General preference given to applicants of diverse cultures. Preference also given to persons working in (or graduate students majoring in) public health and to undergraduates entering junior/ senior-year health programs. Early bird deadline in mid-February.
