Eligibility:  Applicant must  be no older than 24. Must be  child/
stepchild of member or former member of U.S. Navy submarine force who served on the USS Texas (SSN775). Basis for selection: Applicant must demonstrate financial need, high academic achievement, depth of character, leadership, seriousness of purpose and service orientation. Application requirements : SAT/ACT scores.
Additional information: Applicant must be unmarried high school senior or college student. Sponsor must be qualified in submarines and have served on active duty in the Submarine Force for a minimum of 8 years or must have served on active duty in direct submarine support activities for a minimum    of
