Children  of  Veterans  Tuition Grant
Type of award: Scholarship, renewable .
Intended use: For undergraduate study at postsecondary institution. Designated institutions: Michigan institu tions. Eligibility: Applicant must be at least 16, no older than 25. Applicant must be U.S. citizen or permanent resident  residing in Michigan. Applicant must be dependent of disabled veteran or deceased veteran.
Application requirements: Birth certificate, veteran 's DD 214 certificate and casualty report.
Additional information: Veteran must have been killed in  action, been  listed as MIA, or  been  permanently disabled due to service-related injuries. Veteran must have been a Michigan resident before entering military service or must have established residency in Michigan  after entering military service.
Amount of award:         $1,400-$2,800
Total amount awarded: $996,000
