Los Padres Foundation College Tuition  Assistance  Program
Type  of  award:  Scholarship, renewable.
Intended use: For full-time undergraduate or graduate study at accredited 4-year or graduate institution  in United  States.
Eligibility: Applicant must be Mexican American,  Hispanic American  or Pue110 Rican. Applicant must be high school
senior. Applicant must be U.S. citizen or permanent  resident

residing in New  York or New Jersey.
Basis  for selection: Applicant  must  demonstrate financial
need, high academic achievement, seriousness of purpose and service orientation .
Application requirements: Recommendat ions, essay, transcript. Proof of  income.
Additional information: Primarily for Latin American or Puerto Rican students in New York or New  Jersey
metropolitan area. Applicant must have minimum 3.0 GPA and proof of low income. Applicant must be first generation  in family to attend college. Award is renewable up to four years. Must complete 100 hours of community service by June 1st of first college year. Application available at financial aid office, high school  counselor's office, and  online.
