LIFE  Lessons  Scholarship Program
Type  of  award:  Scholarship.
Intended use: For undergraduate study at postsecondary institution  in  United States.
Eligibility: Applicant must be at least 17, no older than 24. Applicant  must be U.S.  citizen  or permanent resident.
Basis for selection: Competition/talent/interest in writing/ journali sm, based on 500-word essay or 3-minute video describing how applicant has experienced personal and financial challenges caused by death of parent or legal guardian.
Application requirement : Proof of eligibility. Essay of 500 words or 3-minute video describing personal and financial challenges caused by death of a parent and how lack of life insurance impacted their college funding plans.
