Type  of  award:  Scholarship.
Intended use: For undergraduate or graduate study at accredited vocational, 2-ycar, 4-ycar or graduate institution. Eligibility: Applicant  must be high  school senior.
Basis for selection: Essays will be jud ged on the best-reasoned response, not on the position of the applicant. Applicant must demonstrate high academic achievement.
Application requirements:  Essay,  transcript.  Unofficial transcript,  application  cover sheet, application  essay. Essay topic (1000 words): "Provide a well-reasoned argument about whether a specific policy in the criminal justice system (your choice) is unjust and requires reform, or is ju st and should stay the  same."
Additional information: Minimum 3.0 GPA required. Amount of award: $500
