Intended use: For undergraduate study at vocational, 2-year or 4-year institution. Eligibility: Applicant or parent must be member/participant of American Legion. Applicant  must be high school  senior.
Applicant  must be U.S. citizen residing in  Maine.
Basis for selection: Applicant must demonstrate financial need, high academic achievement and depth of character. Application requirements: Recommendations, essay, proof of eligibility.
Additional  information: Must  be in  top half  of graduating  class. Grandchildren of current American Legion Post in Maine also eligible. Amount  of award:
