Type of award: Scholarship, renewable.
Intended use: For full-time senior study at accredited 4-year institution. Designated institutions: ABET- or ACCE-accredited universities with construction or  construction-related engineering programs.
Basis for selection: Competition/talent/interest in  research paper, based on advancement of technological, educational, or vocationa l expertise in the construction industry . Major/career interest  in engineering,  civil; engineering, construction or construction
Application requirements: Essay, proof of eligibility. Essay abstract, letter from  faculty  sponsor.
Additional information: First prize is $1,000, plus all­ expenses-paid  trip to AGC convention; winner's  faculty sponsor receives $500 and all-expenses-paid trip to convention. Second prize is $500. Third prize is $300. Application material must be emailed. Only five submittals from each college/ university are accepted.  See Website for essay topic and guidelines.
