Intended use: For jun ior or senior study at  accredited  2-year or 4-year institution in United States. Designated institutions: Massachusetts public institutions.
Eligibility: Applicant must be U.S. citizen or permanent resident  residing in Massachusetts.
Basis for selection: Major/career interest in education. Additional information: Minimum 3.0 GPA. Must be in  his/ her third and/or fourth year of college and enrolled in state approved teacher education program field with teacher shortages. Must commit to teaching for two years in Massachusetts. If work commitment is not completed, waiver reverts to loan.
