GE Foundation/LULAC Scholarship Program
Type  of  award:  Scholarship, renewable.
Intended use: For full-tiEligibility: Applicant must be Alaskan native, Asian America n, African American, Mexican  American, Hispanic American, Puerto Rican, American Indian or Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander. Applicant must be U.S. citizen or permanent resident. Basis for selection: Major/career interest in business or engineering. Applicant must demonstrate high academic achievement,  seriousness of purpose and  service orientation.
Application requirements: Recommendations, essay, transcript,  proof of eligibility.
Additional information: Must be minority student with minimum  3.25 GPA who is entering sophomore year  in  the
fall. Recipients may be offered temporary summer or internship positions with GE businesses; however,  the students are under no obligation to accept  GE employment. Application  available on Website.me sophomore study at accredited 2- year or 4-year institution  in United  States.
