Type of award: Scholarship.
Intended use: For sophomore, junior or senior study at accredited  2-year  or 4-year institution.
Eligibility: Applicant or parent must be member/participant of Golf  Course Superintendents  Association of America.
Basis for selection: Major/career interest in turf management. Applicant must demonstrate high academic achievement and leadership.
Application requirements: Recommendat ions, essay, transcript, proof  of eligibility.
Additional information: Must be member of Golf Course Superintendents Association  of  America. Must have completed at least 24 credit hours or the equivalent of one year of full­ time study in the appropriate major. Must be planning career in golf course management or closely related profession. First and second place winners receive alJ-expense paid trip to GCSAA­ sponsored  Golf Industry  Show. Children  of GCSAA
