Eligibility :Applicant must be Italian. Applicant  must  be U.S. citizen.
Basis for selection: Competition/talent/int erest in writing/ journali sm, quality of  story or essay.
Application requirements: Essay. An original short story or essay celebrating Italian  heritage.
Additional  information:  Candidates  must  be of  Italian
heritage and must reside in the home state of an active UNICO Chapter. Applications may be acquired from and submitted through a State Chapter, the District Governor or the UNICO Nationa l Office.
