Intended use: For full-time undergraduate study. Eligibility:  Applicant  must  be  at least 18.
Basis for selection: Major/career interest in journa lism. Applicant  must  demonstrate financial need  and seriousness of
purpose.
Application requirements: Recommendat ions, essay. Resume, proof of age, statement of financial need, and internship verification.
Additional  information:  Applicant  may  also  be  recent college
graduate. Must have already secured summer internship  at print or online company before applying. Must be committed to AAJA's mission. AAJA membership encouraged  for all applicants and required for selected interns. Deadline late­ March or mid-April ; notification  begins February . Visit
