Type of award: Scholarship,  renewable.
intended use: Por undergraduate study at accredited vocational, 2-year or 4-year institution in United States. Designated institutions: Public schools in  Arkansas.
Eligibility: Applicant must be U.S. citizen or permanent resident residing in Arkansas.
Basis for selection: Applicant must demonstrate high academic achievement.
Application  requirements:  Proof  of  eligibility .
Additional information: Applicant must be dependent  or spouse of one of the following who was killed or  permanently disabled in line of duty: law enforcement officer; firefighter; sheriff; constable;  game warden; certain  state highway, forestry, correction, or park employees; EMT; Department of Community Punishment employee. Dependent child applicant may be no older than  23; no  age restriction for spouse,  but must  not  be remarried. Award  is for tuition, fees, and  room and is for up to eight semesters.
