Type of award: Scholarship, renewable.
Intended use: For full-time undergraduate study at accredited postsecondary institution. Designated institutions: Maryland institutions.
Eligibility:  Applicant must be high  school  senior. Applicant
·must be U.S. citizen or permanent resident residing in Maryland.
Basis for selection: Applicant must demonstrate financial need and high academic achievement.
Application requirements: Proof of eligibility . FAFSA. Additional information: Applicant must be high school senior who has completed college preparatory program or has
graduated prior to the academic year and provide written documentation explaining why  he or she was unable to attend college within one year  of graduation from high  school.
Minimum 2.5 GPA. Must meet Guaranteed Access Family Grant income requirement s; award equals  100%  of student's financial need. New  applicants must apply  through Website.
Both applicant and parents must be Maryland residents.
Amount  of  award: $400-$16,100
