Type  of  award: Scholarship.
Intended use: For full-time undergraduate study at accredited vocational, 2-year or 4-year institution in or outside United States.
Eligibility: Applicant must be spouse of active service person or deceased  veteran  who serves or served in the Air  Force.
Applicant may also be dependent child of active, retired or deceased Air Force service member. Veteran status alone not eligible. Sponsoring member  must be active duty, retired due  to length of service, retired  Reserve with 20-plus qualifying  years of  service, or deceased while  on active duty or in retired  status.
Dependent children of Title 32 AGR performing full-time active duty  service  are also eligible.
Basis for selection: Applicant must demonstrate financial need and high academic  achievement.
Application  requirements: Proof  of eligibility. Additional information: Minimum 2.0 GPA. Deadline in March.

Number of applicants: Notification begins: 4,000
