Air Force/ROTC Four-Year Scholarship (Types  1, 2, and 7)
Type  of  award:  Scholarship.
Intended  use:  For freshman  study  at accredited 4-year institution in United States.
Eligibility:Applicant must be  at least  17, no older than  27, high  school senior. Applicant  must  be  U.S. citizen.
Basis for selection: Applicant must demonstrate high academic achievement and leadership.
Application requirements: Interview, transcript. SAT/ACT Scores, Transcript and Counselor Form, Physical Fitness Test, Activity Sheet, and Interview  (if you meet  eligibility
requirements).
Additional information: Recipients agree to serve four years' active duty. Minimum 3.0 GPA. At least 26 ACT or 1180 SAT excluding writing  tests. Opportunities  available in any  major.
Applicants must not be enrolled in college full-time prior to application. Type I provides full tuition, most fees, $900 for textbooks, and is awarded mostly to technical fields. Type 2 provides tuition, most  fees up to $18,000, $900 for textbooks per year. Type 7 provides tuition  and fees up to the  equivalent of the in-state rate, $900 for books. Scholarship board decides which  type is offered. For all scholarships, amount of  stipend is based  on student's  academic year.  Apply online.
