  • The key to success for any exam or course is dedication and hard work. First of all, decide and choose the subject that you want to study. Once you are done with the selection, then download and go through the syllabus of each subject and try to understand what’s there in it. Try to find out the best books for these subjects online or you can even ask your school to send the list. You can also take help from your teachers and friends.

Now comes the most important part i.e. dedication and hard work. Make a time table for your daily schedule for better time management. Time management will help you to divide your day so that you can give enough time for resting and extracurricular activities without stressing yourself. And last but not the least, practice as much as you can. Practice for writing essays and solving more and more questions from the previous year question papers as IB is more about your writing skills and critical thinking. Try to solve the papers by yourself and use your creativity. This will help you in both time management and accuracy. So, just sit and wait for the right time. Gear up yourself and start preparing from today itself.

  • As an IB graduate I can very well understand the hardships that IB students face. So, here I am going to list down some of the important tips and strategies that should be kept in mind for IB.
    • Understand the Syllabus – Try to understand the syllabus of every IB subject and make notes for each subject. This will help you to put all important points at one place and a better revision.
    • Make a time table – Make a plan of your every day activities and divide your time accordingly. Divide you time in way that that you can give enough time for reading, revising and practicing along with your leisure time. Give time to each subject every day by giving at least 1 hour to stronger subjects and 2 hours to weaker subjects. This will help you to prepare a well-planned guide for your IB preparation.
    • Prepare in Advance – Don’t wait for your teacher to cover the syllabus rather prepare in advance by yourself and stay ahead of others in your class. This will help you to revise your topic in class and you would be able to clear your doubts easily.
    • Text Books – Choose your text books wisely by taking help online or you can even ask your school to provide list of important books.
    • Clear your doubts – Be clear on your concept. If you have any doubt, then don’t hesitate to take help from other and clear your doubt immediately. You can take help from your teachers, friends or can search online.
    • Practice – Practice as much as possible because IB calls for writing skills and creative thinking. Ask for question bank from your IB teacher and solve question from them. This will help you to polish your writing skills, answer your questions correctly and familiarize you with IB exam pattern.
    • Revise- Do a revision of all what you have studied.
