How Long The NRI Category Is Applicable For An Students After Returning India? To Get Admission In Indian University.

I am an Indian Citizen currently working in the USA for the past 4.5 years. My daughter was born in India and studied until 8th grade in Coimbatore, Tamilnadu and then my family moved to the USA. My daughter completed her 9, 10, 11, and 12 grades in one of the public schools in Texas, USA this year.
I have decided to move to India with my family by the end of 2021. I would like to know how long the NRI category will be applicable to my daughter when I apply for UG colleges in India after we move to India.

If an NRI candidate completes his/her higher study and finally planning to return back to India after a 5-year stay Abroad, and now he is planning to get admission to Indian Institute with Indian Citizenship, Then this is Not Possible, until you not completed 1.5 years in India. You can get admission to any college where the NRI category is applicable through NRI Quota.
