Sir, I have appeared for SAT in January but i could not score well in my that attempt. I'm now planning to give SAT in May 2018.
I belong to NRI community in Abu Dhabi and therefore we are looking to get admission in NITs through CIWG or DASA scheme. We will decide that soon.
Now, if i write SAT in May 2018 - Is it possible to apply for DASA or CIWG as my result is not expected to come soon after writing SAT in May. What do you suggest?
Is there any chance i can appear for the test and get admission in counseling this year only. Kindly suggest.

Dear Zaid,
Yes you can apply for DASA / CIWG by writing SAT in May 2018.
You need to take care of "SAT Rush Reporting" This is a express service by College Board for which you need to pay a small fee and your result will automatically be sent to your college.
By taking SAT Rush Report you don't have to wait for usual SAT result time.
This means by writing SAT in May 2018, you will still be able to take admission through DASA / CIWG scheme in any of the NITs in India.
