Will the DASA scheme be there in 2019 , I am a little worried because I have been relying on it and if the scheme is not going to be there , I would be left with no other options than taking a gap year . let me know .

Yes, DASA scheme would be available for 2019, but it seems DASA has changed its terms and conditions. It used to release DASA brochure twice an year - Anticipated one in October and the updated one in March/April.
But this year DASA hasn't released the DASA brochure yet. DASA has updated its website and it shows that DASA 2019 admission will be conducted by NITK Surathkal.
