Dear sir/ma'am,
I am Sid of Class 12 studying in DPS Sharjah. I have an Indian Passport and I did my 5th-9th grade in DPS Doha and 10th-12th grade in DPS Sharjah.
Does this make me eligible for the DASA/CIWG scheme?
I have acquired a perfect SAT 2 score but I have my doubts about whether to apply for CIWG or DASA quota. Is there a big difference in fees and is it easier to get into an NIT through DASA as it has more seats?
I also want to know if it is possible to apply for both categories.
Kindly answer my queries at your earliest convenience.
Thank you

Dear Sid,
Congratulations to you on achieving a perfect SAT score.
Yes, you are eligible for both CIWG and DASA scheme for getting admission in NITs in India. You will be called in the first round of counseling for sure.
Also, we think you should apply under CIWG category. Everyone else who is not from middle east will only apply with DASA scheme. Plus in CIWG you have few seats only reserved for students from middle east.
Thanks,

Dear sir/ma'am,
I am glad to hear that I have a good shot at being called in the first round of counselling.
If I were to apply through CIWG with my score how probable is it that I will get into NIT Surathkal?
Also, I figured that since DASA has a larger share of reserved seats wouldn't it be easier to get admission through DASA?
Are there any benefits of applying through CIWG?
Is there a fee difference?
Thank You
