Type of  award: Scholarship.
Intended use: For full-time sophomore, junior or senior study. Designated institutions: University of Arizona, Arizona State University, Northern Arizona University.
Eligibility: Applicant or parent must be member/participant of American Legion Auxiliary. Applicant must be U.S. citizen residing in Arizona.
Basis for selection: Major/career interest in political science/ government; education, special or public administration/service. Applicant must demonstrate financial need, high academic achievement, depth  of character and  seriousness  of purpose.
Application requirements: Recommendations, transcript. Resume.
Additional information: For second-year or upper-division full-time students. Three $1,000 awards payable to three designated institutions in Arizona. Applicant must be state resident at least one year. Preference given to immediate family  members of veterans.
