I am very much impressed with your YouTube videos @TestprepKart. Thanks for the pieces of information you share.

Our son was studying in Oman from KG 1 to Class 10 under CBSE board. He had completed his class 11 and class 12  from India in March 2018.

He qualified JEE Main 2018  but couldn't qualify JEE Advanced. Now this year he is using to repeat JEE Main to achieve a good rank and to get admission in IIT, NIT etc.

While I was listening to your YouTube videos, I understood that he is eligible to apply under CIWG Quota as we parents are still working in the Gulf, if he is taking the SAT 2 test. Also, our son is having a valid resident visa in Oman until May 2020.

Please advise if he can appear for SAT 2 test and apply under CIWG or DASA quota.

Is there any problem that he already passed Class 12 and skipping one year, so that he cannot take SAT 2 or cannot apply under DASA or CIWG Quota.

Waiting for your valuable advice.

  • All things are fine, but as per the notification of CIWG / DASA, your son must have done his grade 11 and 12 from Oman or other GCC countries, which we believe, is missing in your case.
    So he can't be eligible.
