Dear Sir,

My son is studying in india in class 10th (CBSE).
I am planning to bring him here in Bahrain for class 11th and 12th. as I am working here in Bahrain.

Please advise will he be able to get DASA admission quota to NIT.
Note: I have read that for DASA admission candidate should study 11th and 12th and five year out of last eight years in abroad.

Regards,
Atul

  • Yeah, he would be.

I think you are unaware of the latest CIWG update. MNNIT has made edits to the DASA scheme this year.

If your son studies his 11th and 12th grade abroad then he would be eligible for the DASA/CIWG 2018-19 according to the latest update.
One More Bonus here. According to the latest CIWG 2018 update you can apply for both the DASA and CIWG schemes. Prior to 2018, CIWG students won't be able to apply for the pure DASA scheme. Now CIWG students have an advantage over the DASA students. It's a tough knock on DASA (SAARC & Non-SARC) students.

Hit the link and watch the video to know more stuff about the latest update.
