Type of award:Scholarship.
Intended use: For undergraduate study at accredited 2-year or 4-year institution. Designated institutions: Eligible Minnesota schools.
Eligibility: Applicant must be residing in Minnesota. Applicant's parent must have been killed or disabled in work­ related accident as firefighter, police officer or public safety officer.
Application requirements: Proof of eligibility. Eligibility certificate.
Additional information: Must be enrolled  in  degree or certificate program at institution participating in Minnesota State Grant Program. Applicant  must be the surviving spouse or dependent child of  a public  safety  officer killed  in the line of duty. Apply through financial  aid office. Award covers tuition and fees up to $13,000 at four-year college and $5,808 at two-year  college.
