Intended use: For full-time junior or senior study at postsecondary institution.
Basis for selection: Major/career interest in science, general;
biology; physics; chemistry; natural sciences or engineering, materials. Applicant must demonstrate seriousness of purpose. Application requirements: Recommendations . Resume, budget, research proposal, letter from laboratory supervisor,
leuer from MSA member (may be same as supcrviu1 u1
professor). Four hard copies of all application materials if not
submitting electronically .
Additional information: Award for students interested in pursuing microscopy as career or major research tool.
Applicant should be sponsored by MSA member. Must supply abstract of research project. Funds must be spent within year of award date, but in special cases may be extended to cover additional research during summer semester following
