Latin American Educational Scholarship
Type  of  award:  Scholarship, renewable. Intended use: For full-time undergraduate or non-degree study at accredited  postsecondary  institution  in United  States.
Eligibility: Applicant must be Mexican American, Hispanic American or Puerto Rican. Applicant must be residing in Colorado.
Basis for selection: Applicant must demonstrate financial need, high academic achievement, leadership and service orientation.
Application requirements: Recommendations, essay, transcript. Previous year's tax return.
Additional information: Minimum 3.0 GPA. SAT/ACT scores required for high school seniors. Must be Hispanic American
or actively involved in Hispanic American community. Recipients must fulfill ten hours of community service during the award year.  Applicants must reapply  each year.
