Eligibility: Applicant must be U.S. citizen.
Basis for selection: Major/career interest in orthotics/ prosthetics or medical specialties/research. Applicant must demonstrate financial need, leadership and seriousness of purpose.
Application requirements: Recommendations, transcript. A 200-word essay on why student wants to work in orthotics or prosthetics. Recent W-2 or letter from current employer.
Additional information: Students may apply directly or professors may nominate them. Applicants must be willing to financially contribute to their education. Applicants must be enrolled in technician program and show exceptional technical 3ptitudc.
