Basis for selection: Major/career interest in engineering, civil or engineering, construction . Applicant must demonstrate financial need, high academic achievement and seriousness of purpose.

Additional information: Appl icant must be college sophomore. Award amount varies; maximum is $2,000 per
semester, renewable for three additional semesters if student maintains 3.0 GPA and submits grade report within 45 days after the end of the semester. Recipients will be given opportunity for paid internship with one of scholarship's sponsors between ju nior and senior year.
