Eligibility: Applicant must be U.S. citizen or permanent resident residing in Oregon.
Basis for selection: Major/career interest in education; education, teacher; education, special or education, early childhood. Applicant must demonstrate financial need and high academic achievement.
Application requirements: Essay, transcript. FAFSA. Additional information: Available to elementary or secondary education majors entering senior year or fifth year of study, or to graduate students in fifth year for elementary or secondary certificate. Preference given to students with experience living or working in diverse environments (250-350 word essay describing this experience required for applicants qualifying under this preference); dependents of Oregon Education Association members; and students committed to teaching autistic children.
