Type  of  award:  Scholarship, renewable.
Intended  use:  For  full-time freshman  study  at 4-year institution in United States. Designated institutions: Constituent institutions  of  the University  of North Carolina.
Eligibility: Applicant must be high school senior. Applicant must be U.S. citizen or permanent resident residing in North Carolina.
Basis for selection: Applicant must demonstrate financial need, high  academic achievement  and leadership.
Application requirements: Proof of eligibility, nomination  by high school guidance counselor, financial office of UNC institution, or Tolaram Polymers, Cookson Fibers, or related company. SAT scores, College Scholarship Service's PROFILE (register and file by Febrnary 8), and documented proof of financial  need. FAFSA.
Additional  information:  Special  consideration  given  to students whose parents are employees of Tolaram Polymers, Cookson Fibers, or related companies. Applications available at all North Carolina public high schools. Minimum SAT 1200 score (reading and  math) or ACT equivalent.  Check  Website
