Elie Wiesel Prize in Ethics
Type of  award: Scholarship.
Intended use: For full-time junior or senior study at accredited 4-year  institution  in United States.
Basis  for  selection:  Competition/talent/interest  in writing/
journali sm.
Application requirements: Proof of eligibility. Letter from college/university verifying full-time junior or senior status. Sponsorship by faculty member. Submit essay concerning an ethical dilemma, issue, or question  related  to the contest's annual topic. In 3,000  to 4,000 words,  students are encouraged to  raise  questions,  single out issues, and  identify dilemmas.
Additional information:  First prize is $5,000; second prize  is

$2,500; third prize is $1,500; two honorable mentions are $500 each. Deadlin e is late December; Notification begins in May. See Website fur more information  an<l application.
