What you need to do:

1) Know your Strengths and weaknesses

Time management is very crucial. You need to focus on topics that you find the most difficult. Don’t waste your time solving loads of questions from the topic you are comfortable with. 

2) Make a timetable 

Yes, it sounds cliche but it’s very effective. Math HL isn’t the only subject you are studying and IB is rigorous. Therefore it's important to allot the required time for the specific subject. 

3) Solve Past Year Papers

Solving Past year papers is THE KEY to score a perfect 7 in the exam. By solving these papers you get to know the important topics that are frequently asked and get a better understanding of the concept.

4) Revise

There are a lot of concepts in Math HL so make sure to revise them frequently. 

5) Prepare a Formula Sheet

Make a formula sheet that consists of all the formulas from different topics and make sure to label them correctly. It will save you a lot of time while revising and solving practice papers.
