Cal Grant A & B Entitlement Award Program
Type of award: Scholarship, renewable.
Intended use: For undergraduate study at postsecondary institution. Designated institutions: Qualifying California postsecondary  schools.
Eligibility: Applicant must be high school senior. Applicant must be U.S. citizen or permanent resident residing in California.
Basis for selection:Applicant must demonstrate  financial  need and high  academic achievement.
Application requirements: FAFSA, GPA verification form. Additional information: Applicants who graduated in the last year and high school graduates transferring from a California community college with a minimum 2.4 GPA are also eligible. Awards given to all eligible applicants. Minimum 3.0 GPA for Cal Grant A; minimum 2.0 GPA for Cal Grant B. Cal Grant A provides tuition and fees. Cal Grant B awards up to $1,473 the first year  and $1,473 plus tuiti.on  and  fees for years  two through four. Visit Website or contact  CSAC  for more  details.
