Eligibility: Applicant must be enrolled in high school. Applicant  must  be residing in Tennessee.
Basis for selection: Competition/talent/interest in oratory/ debate, based on language style, voice, diction, delivery, originality, logic, breadth of knowledge, application of knowledge about topic, and skill in selecting examples and analogies.
Application  requirements:  Proof of eligibility.
Additional information : Awards: First place, $3,000; second place, $2,000; third place, $1,000. Enter contest through local high school participatin g in Tennessee Oratorical Contest.
