American Legion Nevada Oratorical Contest
Type  of  award: Scholarship.
Intended use: For undergraduat e study at postsecondary institution.
Eligibility:  Applicant  must be  enrolled  in high school.
Applicant must be U.S. citizen or permanent resident  residing in Nevada.
Basis for selection: Competition/talent/interest in oratory/ debate, based on language style, voice, diction, delivery, originality, logic, breadth of knowledge, application of knowledge about topic, and skill in selecting examples and analogies.
Additional information: Awards: First place, $500; second place, $300; and  third  place, $200.
