Basis for selection: Major/career interest in classics or education. Applicant must demonstrate financial need. Application requirements : Recommendations. Study program proposal, including budget.
Additional information: Must be current member of American Classical Le<1gue and for three years preceding application.
Must be planning to teach classics in elementary or secondary school in upcoming school year. May apply  for independent study program funding or support to attend American Classical League Institute for first time. Number of awards varies year to year.
