Type  of  award: Scholarship.
Intended use: For full-time undergraduate or graduate study at accredited  postsecondary  institution in United States.
Eligibility: Applicant must be residing in Hawaii. Applicant's parent must have been killed or disabled in  work-related accident as firefighter , police officer or public safety officer. Basis for selection: Applicant must demonstrate financial need and high academic achievement.
Application requirements: Recommendations, essay, transcript.  SAR, FAFSA, SAT/ACT scores.
Additional information: Minimum 2.7 GPA. Must be public employee or dependent of public employee injured in line of duty or be a resident of Hawaii who has performed a  heroic act.
