Intended use: For full-time undergraduate study at 4-year institution in United States. Designated institutions: Bethune­ Cookman University, Edward Waters College, Florida A&M University, and  Florida Memorial University.
Eligibility: Applicant must be U.S. citizen or permanent resident residing in Florida.
Basis for selection: Applicant must demonstrate financial need and high  academic achievement.
Additional information : Minimum 3.0 high school GPA on a
4.0 scale. Award amount specified in the General Appropriations Act. Deadlines established by participating institutions. Award funds contingent upon matching contributions raised by the eligible institutions. Applications can be obtained from any of four designated institutions' financial aid offices.
