Intended  use: For  full-time undergraduate study  at 4-year institution  in United  States. Designated  institutions: Private institutions  on  U.S. mainland.  Preference given to small, private institutions with  strong core liberal arts and science programs.
Eligibility: Applicant must be U.S. citizen residing in Hawaii. Basis for selection: Applicant must demonstrate financial need and high academic ach ievement.
Application J'equinmumts: Recommendations, essay, transcript. FAFSA and SAR, SAT/ACT scores.
Additional information: GPA must be between 2.9 and 3.4. Must be graduate of private high school in Hawaii within last three  years. Preference given  to  first  generation college
students from middle income families. Amount an<l number of awards vary  anJ  may  diange yearly.
