Eligibility:  Applicant must  be U.S. citizen  residing  in Hawaii.
Basis for selection: Applicant must demonstrate financial need, high academic achievement and depth of character. Application  requirements:  Recommendations,  essay,
transcript. SAR, flAPSA,  personal  statement,  SAT/ACT scores.
Additional information: Minimum 3.0 GPA." Must be graduate of  high  school in Hawaii  or  have received  GED in
Hawaii. Preference given to students of Japanese  ancestry born in Hawaii.
